Kyle Braden, Assistant Principal
Kyle Braden has been an educator in the Blue Valley School District since the late 2000s. He spent a decade teaching math and engineering at Blue Valley High School, where he also served as mathematics department chair. He later supported instructional improvement across the district as an instructional design coach and as Blue Valley’s 6–12 mathematics coordinator.
Originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Braden earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with a minor in leadership studies from Kansas State University. He also holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Master of Science in School Leadership, both from Baker University.
Braden and his wife, Stephanie, live in Overland Park with their two daughters, who attend Blue Valley schools. He is proud to serve the Panther community and remains committed to supporting student growth and success.

Eric Rembold, Principal
Eric Rembold recently completed his 31st year in public education and is entering his tenth year at Prairie Star Middle School. Before joining PSMS, he served one year as an assistant principal at Blue Valley Middle School. Before coming to Blue Valley, Mr. Rembold worked in the Shawnee Mission School District for 17 years as a middle school principal at (Westridge Middle School), high school associate principal(Shawnee Mission North HS) and Spanish teacher.
Prior to moving to Kansas, Mr. Rembold began his teaching career in McHenry, Illinois. An Iowa native, he holds a degree in Spanish education from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s degree in school leadership from Baker University.
Eric and his wife, Brooke, live in Overland Park and are the proud parents of two Blue Valley School District graduates. The PSMS community is outstanding and has a strong partnership between students, staff and families.
